The Tamsalu EPT Road Grader GJ 2,4 XL is a professional-grade attachment specifically designed for the efficient maintenance and profiling of gravel roads. Unlike standard blades, this grader is engineered to cut into the road surface, allowing for the restoration of proper road crowns and the removal of “washboard” corrugations.
Supported by the tractor’s hitch and two heavy-duty rear wheels, the unit ensures stable and precise control over working depth. With its strategic blade arrangement and full hydraulic adjustability, the GJ 2,4 is an essential tool for municipalities, forestry departments, and contractors who demand a high-quality road network year-round.
Technical Features
Versatile Blade System
Equipped with five blades in total: a hydraulically controlled scarifier blade at the front to break up compacted soil, three middle leveling blades for surface smoothing, and a hydraulically lifting rear stone blade for the final finish.
Precise Adjustment
Support wheels are individually adjustable via both hydraulic and mechanical screw mechanisms, allowing for precise cross-slope and profile shaping.
Hydraulic Drawbar
Features a hydraulic drawbar (pivot angle approx. 35°), enabling the grader to be offset laterally relative to the tractor for better maneuverability in tight turns.
Ballast Ready
The frame includes dedicated slots for adding ballast weights (up to 2000 kg) to ensure sufficient downward pressure on extremely hard road surfaces.
